What is the difference between the catering sales manager/coordinator at my facility, and a personal coordinator?

Personal coordinators offer a different range of services than these other event industry professionals.  Specifically a coordinator is working for you, not the event facility, they are there to see that your wishes and requests are carried out, as well as to assist in planning the details which are not related to the event facility.  Ask the staff at your venue what elements of the set-up and flow of event they will be offering services for to determine your additional needs.
